As lent starts, I have cut a few things out of my daily schedule. I feel the best thing I have done is add the daily reading with the whole family. We have an 11, 7, 3 and 2 angles in our family and I know the 3 year old is to young, but I feel it helps the 2 oldest start their day.
Enjoy you day and do a “under the radar” thing to help somebody today.
You can see good and bad in everyone, but can you help the bad see good and help them achieve it? They to help someone see good and act on it today.
It’s funny how God works. He know when you’re down about things, but at the same time He will put you with GREAT friends that can help you see His path and guide you the correct way.
As we finish Marks passage today, we should think about how we treat others. Do you go that extra mile to help someone in need? I have a challenge. If you are able to help someone in need, with or without them knowing, please post a comment.
The Healing of a Deaf Man.
j Again he left the district of Tyre and went by way of Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, into the district of the Decapolis.
And people brought to him a deaf man who had a speech impediment and begged him to lay his hand on him.
He took him off by himself away from the crowd. He put his finger into the man’s ears and, spitting, touched his tongue;
then he looked up to heaven and groaned, and said to him, “Ephphatha!” (that is, “Be opened!”)
And [immediately] the man’s ears were opened, his speech impediment was removed, and he spoke plainly.
* He ordered them not to tell anyone. But the more he ordered them not to, the more they proclaimed it.
They were exceedingly astonished and they said, “He has done all things well. He makes the deaf hear and [the] mute speak.”
